LAWRENCE J. HAYDEN
Lawrence J. Hayden, of Mamaroneck, died January 6, 2006 at age 76.
Born in Brooklyn, January 22, 1929 to Lawrence J., Sr. and Emma (Dennihy)
Hayden, he served in the Army during the Korean Conflict attaining the
rank of Corporal. He was a 30 year veteran of the NYPD. A member of the
Knights of Columbus Council #2247, the Old Timers Club, the Emerald
Society, The NYPD PBA, he was also active with the Meals on Wheels
program and served as an usher at Most Holy Trinity Church.
On September 1, 1956 Lawrence married Harriet (Martin). In addition to
his wife he is survived by his daughters Patricia Langellotti (husband
Philip), Dianne M. Hayden and Theresa Hager (husband Brett). Also
survived by grandchildren Anthony L. Hayden, Michael H. Langellotti,
Elizabeth Langellotti, Emma Hager and Sara Hager, and siblings George
Hayden (wife Philomena), Daniel Hayden (wife Clare), James Hayden
(wife America) and Kevin Hayden (wife Joan).
Visitation Saturday, January 7 and Sunday, Jauary 8 from 2 to 4 and
7 to 9 pm at COXE & GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME, 767 E. Boston Post Road,
Mamaroneck. Funeral Mass Monday, January 9 at 11 am at Most Holy
Trinity RC Church followed by interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
