GERHARD STOHRER
Gerhard Stöhrer, a retired Sloan-Kettering
chemist with a degree from Heidelberg University, and his wife
Ann Marie have lived in the Mamaroneck School District for 33 years.
Their sons, Hans and Horst, were fortunate to receive an excellent
education from Chatsworth Kindergarten through Mamaroneck High
School, went on to good universities and good careers.
As teachers,
Gerhard taught as a professor at Cornell Medical College, Ann
Marie is a Teacher Aide at Murray Avenue School. In the community,
Gerhard is a member of the Larchmont Village Budget Committee,
helped found the Kemper Memorial Park Preservation Fund, coached
Little League soccer for several years and is a judge in the Westchester
High School Science Fair and an election inspector.
