RICHARD D. MARSICO

Richard MarsicoRichard D. Marsico is a Professor of Law and Co-Director of the Justice Action Center at New York Law School.

Professor Marsico’s specialty is community reinvestment and fair lending, having published several articles, served as a special consultant to the New York State Division of Human Rights, participated in conferences and training sessions. He has represented several community groups relating to these issues, resulting in millions of dollars in lending pledges and other commitments.

Professor Marsico is a 1982 summa cum laude graduate of Fordham College and a 1985 magna cum laude graduate of Harvard Law School. After law school, he was a law clerk to Hon. Shirley Wohl Kram in federal district court in Manhattan. Thereafter, he was a staff attorney in the Civil Division of the Legal Aid Society in the Bronx, before joining the faculty of New York Law School in 1990.

LARCHMONT/MAMARONECK LITTLE LEAGUE
Member of the board of directors since 2000. Served as commissioner of various age divisions.

LARCHMONT/MAMARONECK BABE RUTH LEAGUE
Member of the board of directors since 2004. President since September 2004. Responsibilities include managing the League, which consists of 22 teams and operates in the spring, fall, and summer, and includes baseball and softball for children ages 13-17 at the recreation and travel levels.

YOUTH SPORTS
Coached numerous youth baseball, basketball, and soccer teams during winter, spring, summer, and fall seasons at the recreation and travel levels.
