Little Flower Graduates Look Ahead to Kindergarten

by Leila Marie Badran, Principal of Little Flower Nursery School

(June 15, 2005) Imaginations, minds and creative skills were in full force this spring at Little Flower Nursery School in its home at Mamaroneck's Most Holy Trinity Church. The children studied rainforests, castles and dinosaurs. They brought the lands to life by building three-dimensional exhibits. In addition, the students shared their own backgrounds and heritages with one another through various art projects.

After a busy spring, the school celebrated its graduation on June 10. The graduates along with fellow classmates treated family and friends to a commencement concert with an eclectic mix of music. They sang American folk songs, French songs, and Beatles tunes.

The graduates will be attending kindergarten next year at Central, Chatsworth, Daniel Warren, and Murray elementary schools and the French-American School.
