Peridot Jewelry Goes to the Tonysby Joan R. Simon
Helping Ms. Peretti and Ms. Saltzberg select the right adornment for their Tony outfits was Peridot Jewelry owner Dawn Hendricks and Larchmont theater producer Barbara Whitman.
Ms. Whitman and fellow Larchmonter Ruth Hendel will also be keeping their fingers crossed on Sunday night for the Tony-nominated musical Dirty Rotten Scoundrels which they are both producing. Scoundrel’s John Lithgow and Norbert Leo Butz have both been nominated for Leading Actor in a Musical. Ms. Hendel is also involved this season with Steel Magnolias, starring Delta Burke, Marsha Mason and Christine Ebersole. Both producers have experienced Tony success in recent years and are hoping for repeats. (See: "Four Tony Awards for Larchmont Producers.)
