Ms. Warren
scored the final goal on a penalty shot late in the second
half of the game. She commented, “It
feels wonderful to contribute to all the success, but it’s
a complete team effort.” Scoring the first goal in
the 2-1 win over Ward Melville was the team’s co-captain,
Jillian Cotugno.
The team will play two games this weekend in Syracuse to
determine the winner of the state championship.
