What public service have you performed in the past year to help improve the Village?This past year I have made contributions to the village on several fronts. To begin with, I am finishing up my second year as a member of the Village Budget Committee. The committee has, over the last twelve months, taken on a more active role in analyzing a number of issues and factors that affect our budgeting, including a review of debt levels and general fund reserves (surplus) on a comparative basis with other municipalities. I am also a member of the Flint Park Conservancy and am actively involved in the planning process for enhancements and expansion to the park, as well as efforts to upgrade the playground equipment. Finally, I have served the public through other volunteer activities. This past year I coached my youngest daughter’s T-ball team in the Larchmont/Mamaroneck Little League, after coaching my sons and older daughter for years at various levels. In addition, I have been teaching religious education at St. Augustine’s church. |
