Village and Town Plan Summer Entertainment
Free Concerts, Movie

(June 26, 2003) The Village of Larchmont Committee on
the Arts has five outdoor summer concerts planned for 2003
- rain
or
shine.
"Bring the family! Bring a picnic to Flint Park concerts,"
their
flyer
urges. The first concert is at 7:15 on Friday,
July 4 in Manor Park (sorry, no picnic here); the rest are
on Thursday evenings at 7:15 in Flint Park. (See schedules below.) The Town of Mamaroneck is planning four concerts and one
outdoor movie, all at Memorial Park. The concerts start at
7:00 pm and the movie fun will start at 8:15 with games that
go on until it's dark enough to show the movie on the outdoor
screen (approximately 8:45 pm).
"Bring your family,
a blanket or chair and dinner to join
your neighbors
for
an evening of music and fun in the park," said the Town
Recreation Department. In case of rain, the Town concerts
will
be held indoors at the Hommocks Park Ice rink. A raindate
for the movie will be announced. For further information
