May 20-21: Rummage Sale at LAC

(May 8, 2003)The Larchmont Avenue Church will hold its annual rummage sale on Tuesday, May 20, from 9am to 5pm, and Wednesday, May 21, from 9am to 12 noon, at the church building on Forest Park Avenue in Larchmont.

The sale offers clothing for men, women, and children; furniture; toys; books; and a wide variety of household goods, including linens and kitchenware. In past year, smart shoppers have been delighted by the fine jewelry, crystal, porcelain, and electronics available in the sale's "Boutique" section, described by event co-chair Mary Joyce Beringer as "a step up" from the sale's regular merchandise. Co-chair Gerda Kievit expects a good turnout, particularly since recent construction in the church preempted the 2002 sale.
