Ice Cream Social May 4 at Larchmont Reservoir

(April 24, 2003) Sheldrake Environmental Center’s Spring Festival – “The Ice Cream Social” will be held on Sunday, May 4th from 1 to 4pm (rain or shine) at the Larchmont Reservoir - James G. Johnson, Jr. Conservancy located at 687 Weaver Street in Larchmont. Parking will be available just south on Weaver at our gravel lot or one block further south on Bonnie Way.

Come and join us for this free family day of fun including: live reptile shows with Bruce Lowder of Animal Encounters; children’s stamp-art crafts; wilderness and Native American survival demonstrations, face-painting; live music with Reunion; pond studies and guided nature walks with Sheldrake naturalists; snacks and refreshments (while supplies last); and FREE ICE CREAM generously donated and dispensed by Will Doorly and Chris Xifaras from their local Good Humor and Super Frosty trucks!
