Fire and Ice at the Duck Pond
Photo Essay by Ned Benton
( January 25, 2003) On Saturday, the Duck Pond was
open for skating. Skaters of all ages enjoyed the open-sky
ice, while the Town of
Mamaroneck Fire Department (Weaver Street) including
their Explorer Troop (junior members aged 14-18) conducted
an Ice Rescue drill at one end of the pond.
