Tocci Endorsed by New York State Nurses Association

( October 30, 2002 ) Assemblyman Ron Tocci (D-New Rochelle) has received the endorsement of the NYSNA, New York State Nurses Association. The endorsement is based on Assemblyman Tocci's support of important issues for nurses all over the state of New York.

NYSNA is the largest professional association for RNs. The union has more than 33, 000 registered members throughout New York State.

Gail Myers, Senior Associate Director of Governmental and Political Relations of NYSNA stated, "We believe you will provide important leadership in improving the health care of New York state citizens."

Assemblyman Tocci has been embraced by many unions throughout New York State. The NYSNA endorsement was an honor for Assemblyman Tocci because of his strong record on healthcare legislation.

Assemblyman Tocci stated, "I am grateful for the support from NYSNA and to be a part of the effort that acknowledges the invaluable service that the nurses provide."
