Mamaroneck Town Democrats Endorse Bramson Over Tocci:
For Immediate Release July 11, 2002
Noam Bramson's campaign for the New York State Assembly picked up a key endorsement
this week from the Mamaroneck Town Democratic Committee. According to Mamaroneck
Town Democratic Chairperson Roz Weinstein, the vote of the Committee was
nearly unanimous.
"The response from Democratic District Leaders was overwhelming," said Weinstein.
"Noam has impressed Democrats in Larchmont and Mamaroneck with his energy and
command of the issues. The enthusiasm of the Committee reflects a groundswell
of strong support in the community as a whole."
The Town of Mamaroneck, which includes the Village of Larchmont and a portion
of the Village of Mamaroneck, is expected to account for a larger share of the
Democratic primary vote than any other town or city in the 91st Assembly District.
Bramson has already won the support of many elected officials in the area.
"I am honored by the endorsement of the Mamaroneck Town Democratic Committee,"
said Bramson. "And I look forward to working with leaders and citizens throughout
the Sound Shore to address our important regional priorities."
