More Cable Channel Changes: LMC-TV Must Move

by Ned Benton

(December 4, 2002 ) Cablevision's channel-scrambler has struck again. It was only a few weeks ago that Larchmont's cable television provider announced a major reordering of the cable spectrum to take effect on December 12. (See Cablevision: New Services but More Channel Changes.) Now Cablevision is announcing a new set of channel changes, even before the last set of changes takes effect.

The latest line-up will bump the local LMC-TV channels further up the spectrum. Government access will move from 71 to 75; public access from 72 to 76 and education access from 73 to 77. Cablevision plans to add its own version of local programming on channel 78.

The newest version of the channel assignments are available online at: Cablevision Southern Westchester Channels Effective December 12, 2002.
