According to a press release issued by Larchmont Chief
of Police Stephen D. Rubeo, Mr. Guerra knocked on the
front door of Starbucks, at 1929 Palmer Avenue, at around
10:30 p.m. on July 18, 2002. The suspect displayed what
appeared to be a police badge, and employees let him
into the store. He then let an accomplice, who is still
at large, in through a rear door, and the two handcuffed
the employees to a sink and robbed the store of over
$2,900.
Larchmont Police Department officials praised the Crimestoppers
tips line, 1-800-898-TIPS, for helping to solve this
crime.
