Calling All Chatsworth Avenue School Alumni

   Oral History Interviews, Memorabilia Sought

by Paula Eisenberg

(September 13, 2002) Major Joseph Lanzetta pilots Air Force II, taking Vice President Dick Cheney, Secretary of State Colin Powell and First Lady Laura Bush around the globe. But this Chatsworth Avenue School graduate still finds time to keep in touch with his Larchmont past, and centennial organizers hope to hear from many Chatsworth alumni as the Chatsworth Centennial Year begins.

"We would like to get as many alumni as possible involved to help make this an unforgettable celebration," said Rachel G. Breinin. "In addition to Joseph Lanzetta, we've heard from former Principal Madey's children, Marcy and Brian, who are going to provide us with lots of wonderful materials."

If you have Chatsworth memorabilia, photos or other documents to share, please contact the Centennial Committee at ChatsPTA@mamkschools.org or leave a message at Chatsworth at 914-833-3180. "We are also asking alumni to write a brief essay about their favorite memory of Chatsworth for an oral history project by current students," Breinin said. "If you are available to be interviewed, please let us know".
